true. also, if each company ( paramount/alchemy/wb/disney/et.al) uses different files/formats. ntek programming has to cater to various hardware ( 4k tv brands. and each tv-type within their product-line. often means different hardware/"guts"
to deliver their service. then it makes tons of sense to see what's going on (with a few films, to start, from each)
its like they have signed deals. are getting titles up from each (they have licensing-rights to ). then testing across all the 4k-tv brands. also within the brand ( since most manufacturers have multiple product-lines. some with very different "insides" )
i'd add. in speaking w/ ntek (in the past ). that they try to automate everything (what i was told by management. programmer(s) )
often developing the tools (software. coding. programming ) to do the physical automation ( for ex, encoding. for x brand tv. model x. using ".mov" file/extension ), while working on the programming
all that is one model. of one brand. using one file/format-type. streaming to one destination (don't know if a smartv is diff from a tablet, or mobile, roku or nuvola ), et. al
i understood this. the idea is to be able to push a button. let the software/ system do all (or as much of ) the work blake, carl and phil did the first go-around. when they were uploading say, a 4k disney master that is licensed to roku
