Dear Cisco Customer,
We recently wrote to inform you of an upgrade to your site, https://AmazinglyImportantSiteOnDaIntarwebz.com , on Thu Sep 3, 2015 between X time and X time.
Due to scheduling conflicts, we unfortunately need to reschedule this activity, and will be applying an updated version. The planned upgrade will now take place on (A new date) between X time and X time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,

See? An actual communication, obviously edited to remove any personal information. We had something scheduled, looks like we're going to have to reschedule. They don't have to say that Peter accidentally spilled his whiskey on the server as he was prancing through the data center. They just said it's delayed. There is NO reason that this shouldn't be happening for us as when they delay, especially considering all the constant failures that they have managed to ignore the past few months.
