First, let's look at the potential from the NAFTA Chapter 11 and what may come of that, as at this point I believe that is now the key to all of this. (Thank you Bill and Co.)
What will happen there is that an arbitrator, who is not locally 'connected' , will review all of the evidence. This process will go all the way back to news headlines which included the Mayor of Lakeshore, the build out of the Primary building, the purchase of other property, the lease of other property, the support of the Town of Lakeshore counsel , etc., etc., all the way through the morass of hits from many bashers to the denial of the License.
When it is confirmed that wrongful acts happened, then the process will begin to discover what the loss is and how much damage has been done.
When that happens, the responsible parties will be asked to reach a settlement to make the company, investors, and shareholders whole, assuming that all things had been done correctly to start with.
This will include municipalities, and government agency's.
If I am not mistaken, civil proceedings will have to happen to individuals, which is where, when the above happens , the cockroaches will scurry and point fingers.
Finally, it will come to H/C and did they do the right thing. Obviously, they did not.......for what ever reason, and the reason will not even matter at that point. The information gathered will assist the JR in determining that H/C needs to do damage control, stop the madness, and consider, again, the application for license in the best light of compliance with Canadian rules in place.
The NAFTA Chapter 11 will ask them to settle money's lost because of their actions to shareholders, investors , and the company. What that amount will be ......who knows, but, to me it matters little as long as the company is made whole.
Can you even begin to imagine what that will do to the share price during this period ? All I can say is : O M G...... back to lurking.
All the above JMO of course.. GLTA
