The DSUS company officers who have been granted the FAA 333 Exemption have immediate credibility when talking to potential customers, in that they have undergone the process to be approved first hand and therefore understand the framework within which the FAA will regulate UAS activities. For potential customers who might be slightly concerned about changing their entire way of doing business (for instance pipeline / electrical cable surveys), it will be very reassuring to them to know that they will be guided through the process and that could make the difference between a sale or not.
Note this comment from the FAA website [my emphasis]:
"The Section 333 Exemption process provides operators who wish to pursue safe and legal entry into the NAS a competitive advantage in the UAS marketplace , thus discouraging illegal operations and improving safety. It is anticipated that this activity will result in significant economic benefits, and the FAA Administrator has identified this as a high priority project to address demand for civil operation of UAS for commercial purposes."
Also, DSUS also offers consultancy to those seeking to gain an FAA Exemption (I posted that previously) whether they are customers or not - I do not know if they charge a fee for that but I imagine they would.
