Nature always finds a way, I spent a lot of time on this awhile back because if Brilacidin could cure an active biofilm infection that would be HUGE because most often the artificial joint must be totally removed and replaced, so if an antibiotic could cure the infection it would be an enormous revenue generator. Fact is, Brilacidin appears to be very effective in preventing biofilm formation (see implant coating pending approval), but once the biofilm is formed Brilacidin appears ineffective, so there is indeed already resistance of a sort.
The coating is very effective, Polymedix even trademarked the name "Polycide". Have you seen the slides from Polymedix?
