I agree - that is exactly what I thought the most likely
I agree - that is exactly what I thought the most likely outcome would be from DSUS Day 1. The first thing I did was use the true cost basis of the old company based on the qty of r/s shares, look at the average, ignore the certs and treat that as a bonus, and buy new DSUS shares to get the average to a no-brainer price that it will without doubt exceed very quickly.
Those who got duped into selling their shares by the nonsense posted elsewhere took a huge loss because they just looked at the cash they would get as their brokers showed the cost basis of the r/s shares as $0 which of course it was not. In reality they got less than .0001 (in old company money) if they sold.
The original cert plan was based on a resolution by the BOD of the old company. I do not see why the new BOD can't extend the deadline. Contrary to posts elsewhere, it was always up to the BOD when redemption on the old plan would take place within the earliest and latest date window (my reading of the conditions anyway).
Personally I'm happy to wait until the pps is over $.2 - as stated by others, verified longs hold a significant portion of the float and they will not be selling any time soon.
