Global Airport Snow Removal Vehicles & Equipment Market 2015 Report With Al-Jon, Danfoss, M-B Companies andTeam Eagle Dominating
M2 - Wed Aug 26, 9:39AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/tx78gt/global_airport) has announced the addition of the "Global Airport Snow Removal Vehicles & Equipment Market 2015-2019" report to their offering. One trend that positively influences growth in the global airport snow removal vehicles and equipmentmarket is the pre-wetting salt strategy. Pre-wetting is the latest and an effective de-icing method. It helps speed up the melting process because salt must first turn into brine before it can melt ice. According to the report, the global airport snow removal vehicles and equipment market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 2.09% over the period 2014 - 2019. the presence of GPS technology in snow removal vehicles is a driver that augments market growth. GPS technology conveys to the service departments of the airports the quantity of snow removed and the runways, taxiways, and taxi stands that have already been plowed and salted. Airframe corrosion and environmental issues are some of the challenges faced by this market. Airframe corrosion is a major challenge because of the bouncing of metal pellets on the runways. Snow clearance becomes difficult once the snow starts to melt. Potassium salts that are used around the world as de-icers melt ice on the runway, which can result in corrosion of the aircraft.
