It makes Ultraflix's $1 million dollar payment for 960+ movies in 4K look like a steal!!!!!!!
Just pause a minute. $1M/960 = $1,041.67 average licensing fee paid by NTEK/UF. Now, assuming the rental average is $3.99 per movie (probably low for such as Titanic and Star Wars) and that the projected profit is 20%, then each film has to be rented by only 1,306 people to recover the $1M licensing cost. Somehow I think that is very doable. If you sit down and play with the numbers and projections you can see that NTEK has been muy conservative in their projections and that 2016 could be a very good year indeed.
I think that we should really thank those that negotiated this deal, both from Paramount and NTEK. I bet that we will both be very pleased with the outcome and that deals in the future will be much more profitable to NTEK because they will have real numbers to provide to the studios.
And this is only for the Paramount films. Doesn't include Bollywood or other inde studios; EDM or other live streaming events. Is your mind now asking how did you get so lucky as to be in NTEK on the ground floor?
Hold your shares tight and buy when you can. That's JMHO. Well. maybe you can drop the H.
