Posting on IHUB is a bit of an addiction.
IHUB is like a really stupid politician that has incredible entertainment value...we all know that it's a waste of time and nothing good will come of it, but we're so mesmerized by the entertainment factor that we can't help but want a piece of the action....
The only genuine concerns anyone has here about IHUB is the potential manipulation and the "paid basher" theory, which very well could be true (and I personally believe it is very close to the truth).
I can tell you that I've gotten to know groups of traders that pump stock boards and then sell into the huge momentum gained by the false hype. They make 300-400% profits within 2-3 days that way, yielding thousands of dollars. It had nothing to do with the stock itself. 100% hype. IHUB is a platform for con artists to trick newbie traders. That is all it is. Veteran investors and traders do NOT use IHUB for anything other than manipulation; the only fools that spend their time there are the ones doing the scamming and the ones being scammed. The rest of us either don't post or we get banned (e.g. LT, papa nasty, etc.).
Baltia, currently, can easily be subjected to manipulation. There is low liquidity, a small market cap, and enough "potential" hype to drive the stock any direction one desires, it just takes proper posting volume and a certain kind of language like "RUMORED BUYOUT!!!" or "JUST GOT WORD BALTIA IS CERTIFIED!!". Get 10-15 people to post that, and the morons who use IHUB will believe it to be true despite ANY evidence of any kind. Emotions move stocks, not intelligence. People are motivated by their emotions, so it is not at all ludicrous to suggest that IHUB is a direct mover of Baltia's stock price. If Baltia's IHUB board were to close, where would the newbie traders get their info? They won't call HQ because more often than not, they aren't trading with very much money and all they want is a quick gain of $100-200. The investors buy private placement, which is the smart thing to do if you have big money.
Of course, there is the possibility that we're all really fucking bored waiting for the evac to pass so we use IHUB to make the seconds tick by faster and faster...
