The Company realized revenues for the first 6 months of $1.7 million, primarily from its acquisition of Oro Verde Inc. (formally known as Green M&A Solutions). The acquisition was in the form of a stock for stock transaction which was completed in June of this year.
Oro Verde Inc. is a private US company that has 100% ownership of Green Mine Solutions, a Colombian company with active gold mining operations in Colombia and is actively working with farmers to convert their fields of illegal crops to the Inca Nut. The Inca Nut, has a 3,000 years history with the Inca Indians, grows in the Amazon rainforest of Colombia, and high content of alpha linoleic acid Omega 3 (48 %) and low contents of saturated fatty acids (6%). QED will be concentrating on marketing the Inca Nut in the USA, Canada, Japan and China through a network of retailers and distribution channels.
