So is St. Louis the new site that's recruiting? St. Louis has some great hospitals and is a regional center for serious disease care -- if you live in FarmTown Missouri you probably need to come to the city for stuff like radiation therapy. There should be no problem recruiting patients. They need to get "fresh" patients for this who are on the first round of chemo or radiation, so that they are trying to treat someone whose tissues have already been damaged by previous rounds of treatment. That was why the M.D. Anderson Center was not a good fit for the trial and they dropped them -- M.D.A. gets a lot of patients whose treatments failed elsewhere so they wouldn't be eligible for the Brilacin-OM trial.
St. Louis was a good idea.
