Many of us have challenges and the close circle that knows me know mine. We are in troubling times. I am 57 years old and have seen some crazy stuff. I have never felt that evil has ever been this pervasive in the USA or world wide in my life time. And I stress IN MY LIFE TIME. Of course old old dudes like Dischino and O&W perhaps 
saw the headlines or their parents had first hand knowledge of evil transgressions during some of the most grievous times in the history of the world. The holocaust, WWII, the unbelieveable paranoia that gripped Joseph Stalin which led him wipe out millions upon millions of Ukrainians alone not to mention Russians and many of the people of the Soviet Union. In fact can anyone name off hand without cheating the countries in the old USSR?
Anyway, there are a couple of sayings; 1. You get the leader you deserve. 2. As the leader leads the country follows. Human nature is such (unfortunately) that we take the path of least resistance. When your leaders away his subjects will play. When you have an unfocused, lazy, dishonest, undisciplined leader looking out for himself you find that the trickle down effect reaches all the agencies and department under his supervision.
The battle cry becomes everyone for him/her self instead of focusing on quality, integrity and what is good for the masses. We are in that situation in America now unfortunately. Nobody cares to do the job for the good of the masses and what is right. The focus is do as little as possible, don't rock the boat and maybe I'll get a raise, a promotion or be named to some committee. Or even worse-I'll get a pardon.
There is ALWAYS someone that will jeopardize the majority for their selfish interest. We have seen that within the ranks of Baltia and immediately remedied the situation. However, the brief time we were subjected to this persons selfishness cost us incredible resources in time and money.
We are on the cusp of winning. We are close to the finish line which is ironically our starting line.
We are at the mercy of the integrity and professionalism of the team of FAA personnel who has been in our corner all this time. I am sure they are dotting i's and crossing t's to make sure everyone concerned comes out well.
The successful conclusion of the certification run Baltia is making will solve the financial problems of many and fulfill the dreams of many more.
I am confident we will be getting the nod soon. It is the only outcome that makes sense.
