4k stud https://www.nanotechent.com/4kstudios.php
and we still don't know how ntek will move forward. will they become a streaming provider (behind the scenes for others? leveraging their competitive advantage in this way. don't know. lots to learn yet. maybe shm helps us understand )
big picture
if you research vod. streaming. pc's. mobile and tablet trends -
you'll find that these areas are huge growth areas. people are "cutting the cord" in record numbers. the market for streaming content is growing
if you research current streaming rates in u.s. (and abroad) -
you'll find ntek has a competitive advantage. why? lower bitrates means exp. higher market penetration (you'd have to know what avg. streaming rates are. do some homework. to see the competitive advantage
as for ultrahd -
history repeats. 4k/ultrahd follows hd. the same way hd followed sd (stand def ). learn some history. it might be helpful. and research how ntek is attacking the market (4k studios, remastering films, original programming, original series, working with independent films, et. al.)
also, keep in mind that although films have been shot in 4k for years. they haven't been edited in same. the only way to learn about ntek. who they are and what they are doing is to do your research as there is quite a bit to learn
(before you even determine if it is the right investment for you/your portfolio, investment timeline, et. al )
there's lots to learn.good luck
