During the year, the Company's commercial relationship with The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow"

Unaudited revenues in the year to 31 July 2015 were £2.0 million (FY 2014: £1.43 million). These revenues predominantly comprise the US$2 million milestone payment from Dow and sales of trial quantities of Nanoco quantum dots from the Company's production facility in Runcorn to display customers.
Part of this revenue also came from a grant
The £399,562 grant was awarded under Innovate UK's Energy Catalyst programme
Totals $1,278,486.00 Dow Milestone pymt + $399,562.00 grant = $1,678,048.00
$ 321,952 actual revenues from sales of samples ??...but what was the cost to produce these revenues ??? Looking at their balance sheet they state after having raised £$20 million ...
Following the fundraising that accompanied the Company's move to the main market, Nanoco's balance sheet remains strong. Nanoco had unaudited net cash of £24.3 million at the year end compared with £9.35 million at the half year (31 July 2014: £12.18 million).
So a cash burn of £5 million pounds for £321,952.00 of revenues. ..not a formula for success IMO.
These are my figures based on the information I found from Nanoco figures provided above. If anyone has information to the contrary please correct me.
Looking at QMCs cash burn and what it has accomplished with so little the writing is on the wall who will survive the longest if changes are not made.
For people who complain about revenues it's pretty easy to see we are in the infancy of this business and are not far away from our main competitor when it comes to revenues from bulk sales of qd.
