Choover, you were correct, however no 3 was not a CLEAR PASS. Number 7is a CLEAR PASS given 121 guidelines and the fact that the slide failure on R1 was CLEARLY NOT under the control of BALTIA. Based on the guidance we should clear this. Number 7 was miles apart from what happened in 3 however it has been a perverse blessing in disguise as we along with the FAA solved an industry wide problem.
The only we we don't get a pass is if the FAA usurps their own guidance. That would be evil.
