20,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer eve

There's an article out purporting that ovarian cancer is "not as deadly as previously thought" because 31% diagnosed with it survive 10 years. HOWEVER -- those are mostly women who are diagnosed at Stage 1 and Stage 2, and also are younger (which lowers risk) and don't have other risk factors.
69% DON'T make it 10 years. The article admits that most don't even make it 5 years but interestingly forgot to include statistics on THAT.
I find it appalling to publish an article which says that a certain type of cancer is "not as deadly as thought" because it "only" kills 69% of people diagnosed.
