TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MagneGas Corporation, ("MagneGas" or the "Company" (NASDAQ: MNGA), an alternative energy company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into MagneGas(R) fuel, is pleased to be featured in the August issue of The FABRICATOR(R), North America's leading magazine for the metal forming and fabricating industry.
Boasting nearly 60,000 subscribers, The FABRICATOR magazine delivers the news, technical articles, and case histories that enable fabricators to do their jobs more efficiently. As the foremost authority on metal fabricating technology, the magazine focuses on subjects such as: sheet metal punching, coil processing, plate and structural fabricating lasers, and welding and joining safety. The August issue contains articles on numerous subjects including "Oxyfuel cutting thick, fast--and safely", showcasing the Company's latest innovation, MagneGas 2(R). View the full digital version of the article here.
Under rigorous testing, MagneGas 2(R) is shown to be a safer, more effective cutting tool when compared to the common alternatives of acetylene or propane. The Company reports that during recent testing, a mechanized oxyfuel cutting setup can cut a 2 inch thick metal plate at an astounding 18 inches per minute. The article also references a representative from Titan Contracting & Leasing, a large industrial fabricator, saying that higher cutting speed also means that field fabricators need to spend less time in tight spaces with a cutting flame, resulting in an increase in operational efficiency, as well as a reduction in risk. As mentioned in the article, "...the gas is lighter than air, which improves safety. Typical oxyfuel gases are heavier than air, so in the event of a leak in a confined space, the gas falls to the floor--a hazard waiting for an ignition source."
"It is a wonderful validation to have such a highly respected publication take the time to independently assess and conclude the same benefits that we have been experiencing in our own research and development," commented MagneGas CEO Ermanno Santilli. "Communicating this information to the large number of industry experts who comprise this publication's reader base will continue to raise awareness and put MagneGas into the mind of leaders concerned with efficiency and safety."
