Easily answered:
1) To give the appearance of legitimacy
2) So gullible people don't question the end result as just happened with your question: why fund if.... why file if......
3) Forward looking statements continue to look plausible until the end when you get the final statemet: "we have done everything in our power to sell the processors, unfortunately x,y, and z happened which has prevented our progress and therefore we are now at this time forced to shut down operations until such time as the process becomes profitable, we are obviously ahead of our time and look foreward to when we can reengage the process to save the world"
4) To maintain control of the property under the Heddle name once PTOI becomes extinct

And the question for you: If he's putting in 200K a month, why isn't that money going towards fixing the processors? Why only a little at a time? Why not fix the entire company and move forward with his business plan? Why not prove to the world his processor is financially profitable? Why was the mortgage pushed back to December when he easily could have paid it off himself? Unfortunately the answers to my questions all fall into number 1 and 4 above.
