Today we learned on the Hangout that Baltia has investors that range in ages from 21-67+. Seemingly not all that informative, but there is a lot of substance in those numbers.
The significance of this information is that quite a few of the more reputable members of this forum are over 50. Why is this important? Well, anyone that knows about investing will tell you that as you get older and closer to retirement, you want your investment portfolio to have little risk (after all, there isn't much time to recover your losses).
Why is this interesting? It's interesting because we have several people who are approaching, or are already in, their retirement age. Yet, many of them have very significant amounts of money invested in Baltia - a sub-penny stock (for now). They're not investing spare change; they're investing serious amounts of money!!
So, you have to wonder why investors at that point in their lives are heavily invested in this penny stock. The answer? Confidence.
Although no stock is a guaranteed profit, the level of confidence in BLTA is very high. The investors here are buying in to a company they truly believe in. We've all heard the adage, "Follow the money." When people who are approaching, or are already in, retirement age are investing significant amounts of money into a penny stock, it shows their level of confidence in the company, and that's some pretty good money to follow!!
