I don't know about how serious Margrit's intentions were with going after slanderers, but the SEC should go after them. In my opinion, anyone deliberately slandering any company for compensation should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Public perception is very important to the success of any company/brand. It's hard for a small company to overcome an organized negative campaign. This is very sad because there are many potential products, that would be beneficial to society, that never see the market as a result of such activities.
