What happened in 2009 is that PTOI founder, Mr. Bordynuik, made claims about having a tested process which could make "fuel" or oil for under $10/bbl which was diesel or could be sold for WTI-$3. If you plug those numbers into any reasonable spreadsheet, you would easily conclude that PTOI really is worth several billion dollars and nobody could refute it. Even I, as a skeptic, would believe if those cost and price claims are true then PTOI would be worth several billion dollars.

The problem is that those claims are entirely fake. Neither Mr. Bordynuik nor PTOI never retracted those fake claims either. Both Mr. Bordynuik and PTOI just fell silent and let everything sort itself out. Investors' mindsets slowly morphed and now the remaining investors are comfortable with Mr. Heddle looking for a customer for which the process *might* be useful.

This is a lesson in not paying attention to the value proposition of a company. I keep encouraging the investors here to contact IR and press PTOI for answers on how well the process actually produces results...but that invariably falls on deaf ears. As far as I can tell, nobody has every contacted the company to ask. Investors who don't ask and are confused as to why PTOI has dropped 99% tend to blame boogeymen manipulators for their losses because they don't know what's going on.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
