HDR. High Dynamic Range brings images to life with much wider color gamut and brightness. Color, hues, and shades are dramatically richer. Brightness is up to 40 times richer. Contrast is enhanced up to 500 times.
MPEG-DASH. An adaptive bitrate streaming technique that enables high quality streaming of media content over the internet. MPEG-DASH allows the content to be made at a variety of bitrates. While the content is being played back by an MPEG-DASH client, the client automatically selects the highest bitrate from the varieties made of the next segment to download and playback based on the current network conditions without causing stalls or re-buffering events in the playback.
CONTENT DELIVERY NETWORK (CDN). Verizon CDN enables clients to scale and accelerate their content securely. This reduces the challenges and pressures of meeting the user expectations of instantaneous, always-on digital experiences.
EST. Electronic Sell-Through, aka - purchases, allow users to have access to new releases sooner and be able to buy and store them in the UltraFlix Cloud for unlimited playback and enjoyment.
Live 4K Stream Tests
UltraFlix has been conducting Live 4K streaming tests with Harmonic and Verizon Edgecast. This is in preparation for our Live Concerts / EDM events that are being staged for this Fall.
