Pure Energy (V.PE) (HMGLF) news out today: 816,000 tonnes LCE
Resource confirmed as extension of Rockwood's Nevada lithium deposit. NI 43-101 highlights:
•Boreholes to date have not found the base of the lithium-brine bearing zones.
•Extend laterally effectively continuously throughout the whole claim area of Pure Energy.
•At rates equivalent to those used for production on the adjacent Silver Peak property.
•The same lithologies that host the brines, as correlated with the boreholes, appear to extend much deeper into the basin.
Compared to Rockwood, Pure Energy have:
•Claim to over 8000 acres compared to Silver Peak's 2300 acres
•Higher purity: Recent testing achieved 99.9% LC purity = EV Plus battery grade lithium = Price US$15,500/t
•99% extraction efficiency v's 40 - 50 %
Additionally:
•POSCO: recently extended commercially focussed MOU
•Fast-track to production possible within two years.
Albemarle recently purchased Rockwood for $6.2 billion, with Silver Peak being the key selling point. Why else would Tesla stipulate as a condition to locating in Nevada, that a highway be constructed linking Silver Peak to the Gigafactory? Market cap $ 13 million.
