What I would really like to know is what made 5 hour energy such a powerhouse and how can the HJOE brand replicate that success? I know the big sell point for HJOE is no caffeine. My concern is that those loyal users of 5 hour energy will look at the git r done energy shot or even the hangover energy shot as a knock off and still opt for the original. Conversely, people who ordinarily use 5 hour energy may look at this product as a refreshing alternative-like choosing pepsi over coke. I had read an interesting forbes article about the founder of 5 hour energy Manoj Bhargava. I put the link below if anyone is interested. His company Living Essentials has a team of lawyers who have successfully sued other copycat knockoffs with names like 6 hour power and 8 hour energy. He seems to believe he has created a moat for himself.
