Afraid I must agree. This is a pretty big mistake in my eyes. To not even provide a photo of the decal, it just looks bad. That the car didn't even race just makes it worse.
The PR for the race would've best been saved for next week, just in case something went wrong. Hardly anyone besides investors who already own stock would've been watching the race to look for a tiny decal on a car doing 200mph anyhow.
