That's funny. Maybe some were just fishing for a lower entry point, but not all. I don't take pleasure in people losing money, not ordinarily anyhow, but I don't believe shorting should be allowed for stock issued by companies below a certain age and/or financial threshold. Companies use proceeds from the sale of securities to get off the ground. If they can't get successful, it shouldn't be because some greed mongers without a care trashed their best chance at early stage growth capital.
