CSX Corp. (CSX) delivered stronger-than-expected quarterly profit in its financial results
For the second quarter 2015, CSX posted net earnings of $553 million, or an all-time record $0.56 per share, compared to net earnings of $529 million, or $0.53 per share in the same period the prior year, topping the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.53 earnings per share for the period.
CSX expects to deliver mid-to-high single digit earnings per share growth for 2015, although the upper end of that range has become more challenging given the current energy environment
CSX is a premier transportation company. It provides rail, intermodal and rail-to-truck transload services and solutions to customers across a broad array of markets, including energy, industrial, construction, agricultural, and consumer products.

Brokerage firm UBS upgraded shares of The Coca-Cola Company (KO) from Neutral to Buy and raised its price target on the company's stock from $44.00 to $48.00
