this shows some Australia break even prices-generally in the 40's
and whereas they have cheaper shipping to china by as much as ca 10/ton (during low oil prices the ship difference may be as low as ca 2/ton,as shipping from mex during such had been as low as 5-10/ton) Australia also has a 30% export tax on iron ,which logically should more than cancel the shipping savings
baja 14 was chosen for its low costs including proximity to port so why do we need at least 100/ton?
big boys have higher plant and management costs and invest billions in railroads etc and yet their break evens are 40's to 50's
