Global Preclinical Imaging Market 2015-2019 with Aspect Imaging, Bioscan, Bruker, Mediso Medical Imaging Systems, PerkinElmer, Siemens Healthcare & Thermo Fisher Scientific Dominating
M2 - Sat Jan 31, 12:55AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/m5vndn/global) has announced the addition of the "Global Preclinical Imaging Market 2015-2019" report to their offering. The Global Pre-clinical Imaging market to grow at a CAGR of 15.02% over the period 2014-2019. Pre-clinical Imaging is in vivo imaging of small animals, which had been progressively deployed in drug development process. It helps in the visualizing and monitoring of animals for research with respect to tissue, organ, cell (at molecular level), and physiological and environmental changes. One of the main application areas of pre-clinical imaging is early detection of diseases. Currently the most used imaging modalities are optical (fluorescence and bioluminescence), PET, and MRI. In addition, multi-modalities such as PET CT and SPECT CT are the most used imaging combinations. In vivo imaging is increasingly used in target identification, compound optimisation and pre-Phase I studies, and in the drug development process. Thus, it bridges the gap between in vitro exploratory and in vivo clinical research. The use of multi-modalities imaging systems is a major trend in the market. Also, innovation and advances in technologies to meet research needs, safety, efficacy, and potential reversibility have resulted in the involvement of multi-modalities imaging systems. According to the report, an increase in R&D in pharma companies is one of the major drivers of the market. Because of the intense competition in the market, vendors try to develop new drugs and spend huge amounts toward drug development. Further, the report states that high cost is a major challenge that the market faces. The cost required to complete preclinical studies depends on the research involved. Vendors spend huge amounts on R&D, which will have a significant effect on the company's economy. Pre-clinical imaging systems can be segmented based on the type of equipment, as mentioned below: - Micro MRI - Micro-PET - Micro-CT - PAT - SPECT - Multi-modality - Optical Imaging - Ultrasound Key Vendors - Aspect Imaging - Bioscan (Subsidiary of Trifoil Imaging) - Bruker Corporation - Mediso Medical Imaging Systems - PerkinElmer - Siemens Healthcare - Thermo Fisher Scientific Key Topics Covered: - Executive Summary - List of Abbreviations - Scope of the Report - Market Research Methodology - Introduction - Market Landscape - Market Segmentation by Type of Modality - Global Single Modality Imaging Technique Market - Global Multi-modality Imaging Technique Market - Market Segmentation by Sub-classification - Geographical Segmentation - Buying Criteria - Market Growth Drivers - Drivers and their Impact - Market Challenges - Impact of Drivers and Challenges - Market Trends - Trends and their Impact - Vendor Landscape - Key Vendor Analysis Companies Mentioned - Aspect Imaging - Bioscan (Subsidiary of Trifoil Imaging) - Bruker Corporation - Mediso Medical Imaging Systems - PerkinElmer - Siemens Healthcare - Thermo Fisher Scientific - Agilent Technologies - Capintec - Hitachi Medical - LI-COR Biosciences - Miltenyi Biotec GMBH - Naviscan - Positron - Promega - Quintiles For more information visit http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/m5vndn/global
