is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Darren Urquhart as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a director of the Company. Mr. Urquhart is a Chartered Accountant (C.A.), and has been a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia since 2001. He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. Mr. Urquhart will be replacing Larry Johnson. The Company thanks Mr. Johnson for his services, as well as Jason Leikam and Gord Davidson who have resigned from the board of directors as well.

(TSX VENTURE: CSL) ("Comstock" or "the Company" is pleased to announce that it intends to settle an aggregate of $484,000 of indebtedness through the issuance of an aggregate of 8,066,667 common shares at a deemed price of $0.06 per common share. The transaction remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. All common shares issued pursuant to the transaction will be subject to a hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance.

Comstock Metals Acquires Claims in Cree-Key Lake and Patterson Lake South Areas of Saskatchewan

Comstock Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: CSL) ("Comstock" or "the Company" is pleased to announce that it has acquired by staking claims totalling 21,900 ha in the Cree-Key Lakes and Patterson South (PLS) area of Saskatchewan. Two claims totalling 2835 ha are in the PLS area, which is considered to be highly prospective for unconformity-related uranium mineralization due to the success of Fission and Nexgen Energy. Uranium mineralization at both Fission and Nexgen's properties is basement hosted and is considered to be an attractive target due to its shallower depth compared to many other unconformity related uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin. Comstock Metals' properties in the PLS area are named PL Northeast and are contiguous to and along trend of the uranium mineralization discovered by the two companies above (see Comstock Presentation on Comstock Metals' website). The remaining claims are located southwest of the Key Lake deposit.
