I can see the point on a curve TV. I wouldn't pay extra for it. 3D didn't work in the 50's and I don't think it will work too well now. Just my opinion. On the other hand, 4K is a visible upgrade in performance and and can be added at a minimal cost. It's definitely on the way up. Just need the content......
