Cleavage vs. Cover-up: New Study Sponsored By Violet® iodine Reveals 73 percent of American Women Aren't Looking to Show-off 'The Girls'
MENLO PARK, Calif., July 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- If you've got them, flaunt them, right? Well, that's now only true for 27% of American women according to a new survey conducted by Newlio for Violet® iodine. In fact, this summer, the top swimsuit choice will be a one-piece (51 percent), followed by a tankini (18 percent), and a bikini (13 percent). Modesty may be on the rise this season, but the majority of women (73%) are perfectly happy with their cup sizes.
Why are so many women shying away from showing off their breasts when they adore them? This could be tied to the fact that more than 60% (62.4%) of women surveyed between the ages of 19-39 experience "breast tenderness" associated with their menstrual cycle.
"PMS-related breast discomfort like tenderness, aches, swelling and heaviness can be really disruptive to a woman's regular routine – often dictating what she will wear, whether or not she'll go to the gym or even partake in sexual activity," said Anja Krammer, President, BioPharmX Corporation. "Many women suffer in silence and don't realize that there is a new simple option available to relieve the discomfort. Incorporating the daily supplement, Violet iodine, into a health and wellness routine can not only help alleviate many of the most common symptoms but also promote overall breast health."
