If you read up on the intentions of the SEC when they created the MMs, they were given the free reign to do just about anything they want and the actual "rules" were never made public knowledge. This is why most people will never invest in penny stocks. It is a shame that this goes on. I still think that NTEK will have its day. I don't, however, agree with the thought that someday the shorts will get burned. They have made millions off the stock and have proven that there is very little limit to the powers that they have.
