Bashers new claim is PERSEUS will be NTEKs future undoing,
but a couple seconds of using common sense logic would
put such nonsense to rest.
First of all PERSEUS is only in 'field tests' and won't be
ready for major adoption by any big players until 2016
at the earliest. By that time ULTRAFLIX will already have
built a strong user base of around 1,000,000 sign ups by my
estimation.
Second point is NTEK has already shown they could quickly
transition from the h.264 standard to the h.265 and also
VP9 so they could also easily switch to PERSEUS if that
also became the best new standard for 4k UHD compression.
Bashers try to keep claiming NTEK has crap content, but
having INTERSTELLAR and GI JOE which pulled in a
BILLION $$$ box office revenue proves them wrong.
For a very small company like NTEK all they need is
a couple big hits on UF bringing in MEGA revenues once
we build up to the 1,000,000 user base in 2016.
Furthermore we have the proof in simply watching
UF move rapidly up the alexa ranks that UF is indeed
going to make it to the 1,000,000 mark in 2016.
So to Mr smartazz OVIO4K I'd just like to say nice try
at bashing but you are so full of crap.
