In late 2014, FamilyCare Health began utilizing Inovalon's analytics and data-driven intervention platforms to improve insight, reporting and performance in a series of quality-focused initiatives within their Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid membership populations. These initiatives focused on achieving both the accurate assessment and reporting of clinical quality scores as well as their improvement. Under the new set of agreements, FamilyCare will broaden this existing partnership with Inovalon, leveraging their established data integration and intervention platform utilization. The new engagement will introduce additional predictive and comparative analytics to focus on identifying gaps pertaining to member disease and co-morbidity insight. The data detailing these identified gaps will inform the Inovalon cloud-based intervention platform already in use with FamilyCare, supporting the resolution of the identified gaps, and resulting in improved quality of care, risk score accuracy, utilization efficiency and regulatory data accuracy.
