Thanks, Alan! This whole business is so confusing

Thanks, Alan! This whole business is so confusing to me that I wish I'd never started in it. I do all kinds of DD on companies and have fallen deeply in love with a few, such as NTEK. Yet, I never knew about all the back room deals and "legit" fraud that is constantly perpetrated against common shareholders, devastating both the shareholders and the company. It just makes me feel so helpless. Right now, every company I've invested in has undergone these types of shark attacks--and not just the penny stock companies either. I've currently lost 3/4 of my initial investment overall. Yet, the companies and their products are solid. I don't see how this fraud is allowed to continue.
