Rambus (RMBS) Licensing Deal Extended

After the closing bell on Thursday, Rambus Inc. (RMBS) said that it has signed an amendment that extends the current agreement between the company and SK Hynix Inc. for use of RMBS' memory-related patented innovations in SK Hynix semiconductor products.
With this amendment and extension of the licensing deal, SK Hynix will continue making payments to RMBS averaging $12M per quarter for the next 36 quarters.

Shares of SL Industries Inc. (SLI) climbed in after-hours trading Thursday as the company said that the independent members of its Board of Directors have received a non-binding proposal from Handy & Harman Ltd. (HNH) offering to acquire it for a per share price of $43.00 to $45.00 in a cash or stock transaction.
SLI's outlook for the second quarter of 2015 is net sales, EBITDA, and Adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations in the ranges of $49 million to $54 million, $5.7 million to $6.3 million, and $6.0 million to $6.6 million, respectively.
SLI designs, manufactures and markets power electronics, motion control, power protection, and power quality electromagnetic equipment that is used in a variety of medical, commercial and military aerospace, solar, computer, datacom, industrial, and telecom applications.
