The Indian Gold so far has jumped Rs 255 (nearly 1 percent) to a high at Rs 27,135.
Now, the Gold price in India has added Rs 230 at Rs 27,110 per 10 grams. The MCX counter has seen trades of around 5,857 lots and the open interest has soared 14.3 percent to 9,129 lots.
Globally, the NYMEX Gold August future has surged 1.7 percent at $ 1,196.80 per ounce.
The MCX Crude Oil June future has smartly extended earlier gains on the back of bouts of buying at counter.
Following the NYMEX futures, out Indian Crude Oil has jumped 1.9 percent to a high at Rs 3,868.
Now, the price of MCX Crude Oil has surged 1.6 percent at Rs 3,855. The MCX counter has seen trades of around 49,738 lots and the open interest has moved higher by 31.6 percent to 5,101 lots.
