About the Lawsuit
3D Systems and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.
The alleged false statements and omissions include, but are not limited to: (i) 3D Systems’ ability to increase capacity; (ii) the true demand for the Company’s products; (iii) the value of its acquisitions; and (iv) the Company’s expected earnings.
On October 22, 2014, 3D Systems announced disappointing preliminary results for the third quarter and lowered its guidance for the full year, stating that the poor results were due to capacity constraints.
