Lake Geneva, WI, June 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This June, Geneva National Golf Club unveils its 4,900-square-foot, fully renovated Legends Room overlooking the stately resort’s rolling fairways and picturesque Lake Como. Ideal for off-site meetings, wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as an array of other private gatherings, this upscale build-out increases seating to 160 guests and offers a mid-sized room option in addition to the Club’s classic Lake Geneva Room for up to 120 guests and its exquisite grand ballroom , which seats upwards of 300.
Located in the desirable Lake Geneva resort area, the stand-alone event space was designed by Beloit-based Corporate Contractors, Inc. (CCI ) and evokes a refined-rustic ambiance with an exposed brick feature wall, white-washed tin ceiling, oiled bronze chandeliers and sconces, and textured charcoal-toned carpet accented by a rich oak entryway. Enlarged floor-to-ceiling windows frame the 18 th hole of the resort’s award-winning Arnold Palmer Course and welcome a soft glow from their southeastern exposure.
“We already had the best banquet views in the area,” notes Stacey Syverson, Membership Director at Geneva National, “so our goal was to further set ourselves apart by offering the most uniquely modern interior in the Lake Geneva area.” According to Syverson, the room’s fresh take and neutral palette meets the needs of today’s bride, complementing any celebration’s color scheme while reflecting the lush feel of the verdant and wooded Wisconsin countryside.
The dramatic restoration also encompasses both the men’s and women’s lounges with a custom glass mosaic backsplash and granite countertops, respectively, as well as a separate and spacious bridal suite, reserved for preparation and relaxation with an elongated white stone vanity, mirrors galore, an elegant sideboard for mimosas and catered treats, plush, salon-inspired seating and a flat screen television. In addition, doors on both sides of the suite open with secure keypads to be used exclusively by the bride and wedding coordinator.
CCI masterfully completed these updates to The Legends Room, named for Geneva National’s architects, legendary golf masters Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Lee Trevino, who each designed 18 holes for a matchless opportunity to play three champion-built courses at one resort.
