From my buddy Kevin Scrobola:
First off I would like to thank Todd Mendola for the ride out to Madison Heights. Hope your housewarming party and sons birthday went well. And hope you enjoyed the duck. LOL
I need to give a disclaimer, I did not intend to do an update or write this explanation. I did not take notes or pictures. After the tour Bill said "hey why dont you tell everyone about what you saw. To which I answered as long as they can wait until Friday. So I will do my best to explain it and answer all questions.
Upon my arrival we were met by Bill and driven to the first production facility not far from the RXNB Headquarters. The building was set up for producing all supplements. (Now I'm no accountant but if your set up to do it all yourself from production to packaging and shipping I think your doing it right.) The building was a maze of rooms with machines to do everything from mixing the supplements to bottling and labeling. It was a pretty awesome set up of modern equipment and technology. People always seem to forget the supplement side of the business but when you hear the whole story on how this will all be integrated into the business model it's pretty wild. Now as Bill continues the tour he points out shortcomings of the facility and say we should have done this or that just because he is a perfectionist.(this will be realized later in the day) So after about a 20 minute tour of the first building he takes us to the next. It was an old converted Bennigans Restaurant on a main road with a new sign that reads EDGE NUTRITION.
The interior has been totally redone and the store has tons of product mostly on the shelves but stacks of product is still awaiting to be packed out for the grand opening. There is a twist to the service though. There will be a Doctor on site for wellness visits. So you will be able to get your prescriptions and your supplements all in one stop.
Now we are off to the next stop which is the RXNB headquarters. This time we enter the building from the side and to my amazement it looks like the first building with the same type of production equipment but as Bill walks us around he points out how he has corrected the shortcomings of the first facility. I was now starting to get excited at the future prospects of RXNB. After a quick tour of the second production facility he took Todd and myself up to the offices that will house the call center and other businesses under the RXNB umbrella.
At this point Dr. Sam was brought into the mix with his brother Abe.After about 20 minutes of small talk and catching up it was time to go and this is where Abe took over the tour. Abe took myself and Bill over to the pharmaceutical building. Now I was very curious about this part of the business because my wife is a nurse and now I was wishing she was here to appreciate this set up. The system was amazing and the fail proof software was unbelievable. I'm not a pharmacist or a software engineer but the explanation of the system was pretty wild. The system was so on point that they could deliver a targeted dose by.003 micrograms. That is pretty damn close. Each room had a vented hepa air filter, dust collectors and many other safety standards that were overkill and not mandated but to be the best as Bill said you must go above and beyond.
Now lets just think ahead for a second, If MMJ were to be introduced into the mix here and the delivery methods were oil or edibles I would say we are way ahead of the game and pretty much set-up to deliver the proper dosages of THC unlike some of these other companies delivering mold.
The whole model will become a standard in my opinion. It is medicine of the future and I think we have a couple of visionaries here. I must say that I am no investment guru or analyst but I have some time and I am looking forward to the future
