Total is 3,222,555. A 16,545 share discrepancy from Finra's total volume report, but good enough for my purposes.
The action today is different than the usual pattern where the shares offered at the ASK are sold SHORT; it seems today, someone or group decided to sell shares SHORT into the BID. This tactic is more inline with what one would see with the typical short attack. I wonder if the same group of manipulators are changing things up or if a different group is attempting to set up an opportunity for themselves.
