Phoenix Mayor and Arizona Leaders Discussed Mexico's Economic Impact on the Southwest in June 4th Panel Event

PHOENIX, June 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Azteca Phoenix 41, Fundación Azteca America and Zócalo Public Square brought together Phoenix business and community leaders for a panel discussion at the Heard Museum on June 4 TH , welcoming an audience of clients, local leaders and community members for an open discussion on what Mexico's economic growth means for the Southwest. Azteca's partnership with Zócalo underscores the network's ongoing commitment to inform and serve the U.S. Hispanic audience through a series of free public discussions to engage and inform those in Azteca station cities.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, Héctor Romero, CEO at Signum Research, and Margie A. Emmermann, former Arizona-Mexico Commission Executive Director engaged in a thought-provoking conversation around the important local issues of U.S.-Mexico relations and the effects of Mexico's growth on Arizona – economically, socially and culturally. The panel was moderated by Fernanda Santos, Phoenix Bureau Chief at The New York Times .
