Korn/Ferry (KFY) Surpasses Estimates

Shares of Korn/Ferry International (KFY) surged to touch a new 52-week high in the extended session Thursday after the company delivered strong performance in its quarterly financial results with profit and revenue numbers that exceeded analysts' expectations.
For its fourth quarter fiscal 2015, KFY posted revenue of $282.2 million, an 8.2% increase year over year, and adjusted net income (excluding non-recurring items) of $25.6 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, compared to adjusted net income of $21.2 million, or $0.43 per diluted share in the same quarter the prior year, topping the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.47 earnings per share on revenues of $262.93 million for the period.
According to its business outlook for the first quarter fiscal 2016, KFY expects diluted earnings per share to be in the range of $0.44 to $0.50. The company has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share, payable on July 15, 2015 to stockholders of record on June 25, 2015.

On Friday, brokerage firm Miller Tabak upgraded shares of Bob Evans Farms, Inc. (BOBE) from Hold to Buy and increased its price target from $50.00 to $57.00 per share.
BOBE said that its Board of Directors has authorized the Company to pursue a strategic transaction for a select portion of its restaurant properties. According to BOBE, the transaction may take the form of either a sale-leaseback or a tax-free REIT conversion and spin-off.
BOBE owns and operates full-service restaurants under the Bob Evans Restaurants brand name.
