Wrong about me having anything to do with meows board. PP put me as assistant even though I said i really have no interest in being one. I have zero interst in doing any mod position at all. I do think the cat guy is a bizzare person and a little naive when it comes to pink sheets, but who wasnt when they 1st statrted
The WIP thing doesnt bother me at all. It showed that a lot of what was pr'd in the past is near the point of going live. Remember when Interstellar kept getting delayed= well now nobody even remembers that. The company wants to have a huge compilation of stuff to show consumers to keep them coming back. Like I said, I am going to try to make it to San Jose to see stuff for myself in July. I dont know if they would tell me about why the delays are happening, but I think much of it has to do with Sony, just my opinion.. People will forget about mistakes as time passes. New Coke is an example, remember when Tylenol has someone poisoning its pills back in the 80's. Remember the really ugly SUV that GM came out with yrs ago- ugliest vehicle I ever saw. Remember Sonys attempt to download 4k movies and play them back? that was a disaster. There are a lot of examples of this.
I think this fall is when the big push for both sales of 4k tvs goes ballistic. I think UF is gonna have a gift card in most 4k tv boxes (i thought i heard that somewhere) as part of the marketing plan. Its a cheap way to drive customers to UF and sign them up.
