Some will still argue, though, that while 4K screens might be in abundance now, 4K content and the means for delivering that data-hungry content remain in such short supply ( NTEK has the solution! ) that Apple just doesn’t need to worry about it yet. However, while I agree that there remain significant hurdles to getting 4K into our homes – especially the current shortage of fast broadband connections –(NTEK solved this too!) history suggests that once sales of a new technology’s hardware reach the sort of levels already being hit by 4K UHD TVs the will to overcome the content creation hurdles grows exponentially . And where there’s enough will, there’s always a way – as borne out by the sudden rise in 4K UHD content news stories over the past couple of months.
