A better question would be to ask the whales why they insisted on hiring the two crooks from RockTenn to become executives and exclusive board members of JBII/PTOI that did nothing but steal from the company and make costly "mistakes", (leaving stock out in the rain and giving themselves big fat bonuses). Thanks to an honest ex- board member the stockholders banned together and stopped their wicked plan and were able to kick them to the curb.
