Hmmm Chess...maybe that helps explain why all the intense interest in 'zombie-themed' content on TV & in the movies lately. Playing to the crowd (or subliminally preparing us for our inevitable fate[?] . Who knows , could be...seems to follow with a theory I've been pondering lately: the more I see & hear in this world , is the more I'm becoming increasingly convinced that the evolutionary advancement of 'civilization' peaked in the early 1970's & has been going backwards at an ever-increasing rate ever since. Middle class dissolving before our eyes...ethics out the window...wars & threats of wars in every direction (often using barbaric medievel practices)...infrastructure decaying w/ no fix in sight...jobs being replaced by machines, benefitting only the carpetbaggers...the poor & infirmed being portrayed as the bad guys...Kardashians & Palins rule the world...brainless corporate puppets running governments...the legal systems being corrupted beyond measure etc etc etc. Hell , you can even hear it in the music...Led Zeppelin put out the finest composition ever , 'Stairway to Heaven' in 1971....and look what we have now. Just a pet theory of mine...could be wrong, but if so...WTF is going on with this bizarre friggin' world these days[?] Maybe it's just me in my old age but , I just don't get it...where the hell are we going from here[?] It seems that the inmates are running the friggin' asylum.
