Its subsidiaries, Certicom and QNX, are said to be jointly working to bring cryptography, as well as, entity authentication to the automobile industry. Alfred said that the security has been designed in such way that would meet the faster development cycles of connected cars right from the word go and not added them as an afterthought. He added that the company’s products platform established this.
