Been following the Quantum Dot Market for Displays

Quantum Materials is not first out of the gate. Private company QD Vision has TCL agreement and UK's Nanoco/Dow recently had a setback in not able to provide a mfg facility in S. Korea.
Quantum Materials is the only company who has a Reactor for mass production capabilities which was set up before moving into their Star Park facility 2 years ago along with patents on their Tetrapod QD from Rice University. They have worked with Los Alamos Nat'l Lab for their better more stable Giant QD Tech and bought the patent Rights for Bayer. They have shipped 40 samples/NDA's to end user spec from their Reactor. Currently a larger reactor has been added along with Scientists and a new CFO who bought 1M shares and a controller recently.
With their latest announcement and the ability to dropship their patented reactor the feeling is that this latest PR could be the stepping stone into the big time.

SAN MARCOS, Texas, May 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Leading North American quantum dot manufacturer Quantum Materials Corp (OTCQB:QTMM) today announced plans to introduce a new class of high-reliability Cadmium-free quantum dots at the Society of Information Display (SID) Display Week 2015 International Symposium in San Jose June 1st.
"We have optimized a new class of rugged and highly-reliable quantum dots with robust resistance to heat, oxidation and moisture," said Quantum Materials Corp CEO Stephen Squires. "We expect that the environmental resistance of these custom quantum dots will reduce the need for high component cost protective barrier films in display manufacturing and accelerate solid state lighting development due to their high heat and oxidation stability. We will be releasing additional detail during Display Week and look forward to briefing customers and media there."
In addition, Quantum Materials Vice President Dr. Michael Krueger will be presenting at BIT's 4th Annual World Congress of Advanced Materials at 8:30 AM on May 28th on 'The accomplishment of large-scale automated synthesis of quantum dots for industrial applications' at Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center, China.
